2) In the process of protein biosynthesis, hereditary information located in the cell nucleus via i-RNA (transcription) is transferred to the ribosomes, where it is realized in the amino acid sequence of the protein (translation). Ribosomes are located both in the cytoplasm and on the membranes of EPS, through which the formed protein molecules are transported through the cell. All reactions proceed using the energy of ATP molecules formed in mitochondria.
