In which climatic zones are many swamps? Why?

Marshes are located in all climatic zones and on almost all continents. The largest number of marshes in the tropics of South America (wetlands without peat layer) and in Eurasia (peat marshes).
The presence of swamps in South America indicates large reserves of surface water.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
