Indicate the provisions of the Treaty of Versailles that impeded the implementation of the Kellogg-Briand Pact.
The Kellogg-Briand Pact was concluded in 1928 – a rejection of war as a weapon of national politics. This is the creation of a collective security system in Europe. The idea was very good, because this treaty, in principle, “prohibited war”. The pact was initially signed by 15 states at once, including the leading countries of Western Europe. Later, by the mid-1930s, another 63 states joined the pact.As for the Versailles Treaty, which was signed on June 28, 1919, immediately after the First World War, the mercantile interests of the victorious countries were absolutely clearly traced there, who wanted to get monetary compensation for the damage caused during the war and annex some territories of the defeated countries. It was these points that impeded the implementation of the Kellogg-Briand pact.
