Discrimination in the labor market – unequal opportunities in the labor market for a group of workers allocated according to a certain principle and having the same productivity with other workers (group discrimination), or unequal opportunities for individual workers compared to workers with similar characteristics of the quality of the labor force (individual discrimination).
Various characteristics of workers can serve as grounds for discrimination in the labor market.
