Is it possible to get an interferometric pattern from two stars? from one star?

An interference pattern cannot be obtained from two stars, since stars are not coherent light sources.
This can be done from one star if, by dividing the radiation, a phase difference between the streams is created. An interference pattern from a single star is also observed when light is diffracted by the lens barrel and in devices such as a Michelson interferometer.
