List the types of chemical bonds. Why does the knowledge of the numerical values of the magnitudes of electronegativities allow us to judge the type of chemical bond between the atoms of the elements?
Forks of chemical bond: -covalent (polar and non-polar) -ionic -metal.
Since electronegativity affects the distribution of electrons between the interacting atoms, then the knowledge of the numerical values of the electrofeatures allows us to judge the thickness of the chemical bond between the atoms of the elements.
