Many arachnids have glands whose semi-liquid secretions turn into spider webs in the air. Why is the web used by spiders?

1) from the web, spiders weave hunting nets with which animals catch prey;
2) female spiders weave a web of laid eggs, protecting them from external adverse conditions;
3) long spider webs use young spiders to move in space, which contributes to their resettlement.
