Name and compare the types of struggle for existence and their role in the life of organisms

1) Intraspecific – the most acute form of the struggle for existence, because it goes for the same resources. The advantage is given to individuals most adapted to these conditions (natural selection occurs).
2) Interspecific struggle – competition of different species in one ecological niche for light, food, water, etc. – can lead to the displacement of one species by another. In different habitats of the two species this does not happen.
3) The fight against adverse environmental conditions enhances competition, both intraspecific and interspecific.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
