The cytoplasm in plant cells is capable of movement, unlike the cytoplasm of bacterial and archaeal cells. The movement of the cytoplasm is necessary for several reasons. This is primarily necessary for the transport of various substances from cell to cell. Also, due to the movement of the cytoplasm, there is a transport of substances inside the cell between various organelles. Organelles move along with the cytoplasm. So they can perform their functions. The same processes occur in animal cells, fungal and in cells of protists.
