| A massive atmospheric vortex has been observed on the planet Jupiter for over 300 years. It is visible as a pinkish oval spot in the southern hemisphere, for which it was named the Great Red Spot (BKP). Its dimensions: the length of the major axis is 20-25 thousand kilometers, of the minor axis is 10-12 thousand kilometers.
