Parents with normal vision (dominant trait (A), not sex-linked) gave birth to a blind child. Identify the genotypes of family members based on normal vision / congenital blindness.
1) Since the blind child was born into a family of two sighted people, it means that both parents had a recessive gene for blindness,
2) the genotypes of the parents are Aa, and the child is a recessive homozygote mother – Aa, father – Aa, child – aa.
