Point out the significant differences between propaganda and advertising.

Advertising (from Lat. Reclamare – “to assert, shout out, protest”) – information disseminated in any way, in any form and using any means, addressed to an indefinite circle of people and aimed at drawing attention to the advertised object, generating or maintaining interest in it and its promotion in the market.
Propaganda (Latin propaganda literally – “subject to dissemination (faith)”, from Latin propago – “I spread”) – the dissemination of facts, arguments, rumors and other information, including knowingly false, to influence public opinion. The word comes from the name of the Congregatio de propaganda fide (Congregation for the Propagation of Faith), created in 1622.
In a simple way:
Advertising is information about a product / service that puts pressure on emotions.
Propaganda is the primary means of mind manipulation.
