Political activities George Walker Bush

Born July 6, 1946, New Haven, Connecticut, USA
The presidency was
January 20, 2001 – January 20, 2009
Currently alive.

Bush’s original program focused on domestic policy issues, including tax cuts and sweeping education reforms. The focus of the new presidential administration’s efforts has radically shifted following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Bush declared a “war on terror”, within the framework of which a military operation in Afghanistan was carried out in 2001, which ended with the overthrow of the Taliban regime. US foreign policy was carried out on the basis of the new “Bush Doctrine”, which implies the delivery of preventive strikes against the enemy and unilateral actions without the need for their approval by the international community
The anti-terrorist policy of the Bush administration also developed within the country, where the powers of the intelligence services and law enforcement agencies were significantly expanded.
