| Experiment can make sure that plants emit carbon dioxide when breathing.
Place one of the houseplants on the glass and place a glass of lime water next to it.
Then we cover the plant with a glass cover and place it in a dark cabinet.
After a day, the lime water in the glass will become cloudy, which indicates that a large amount of carbon dioxide has formed under the hood.
Conclusion: green plants emit carbon dioxide.
