The world has learned about the Justinian Code, probably the most popular set of laws. Here it is no longer a question of blood feud, but of social relations in trade, civil relations between estates and interpersonal relations in the family were regulated.
Truth is the first set of laws on the territory of Russia, adopted by Yaroslav the Wise. Most of this normative legal act resembled the criminal code, as it regulated the system of punishments for theft, damage to other people’s property, deception, insult and murder.
