Suggest a way to measure spring stiffness

Measure the length of the spring, then suspend a weight of a known mass to the spring and measure the length of the spring again, determine its elongation, knowing the mass of the suspended body, calculate the force with which it stretches the spring. Calculate the spring stiffness according to Hooke’s law, k = F / x.
