The car moved at a constant speed. On the first day he drove 1,080 km, on the second – 760 km. On the first day, he was 4 hours longer than on the second. On the third day he was on the road for 6 hours. What distance did the car drive on the third day?
1) 1080 – 760 = 280 (km) – more on the first day than on the second
2) 280: 4 = 70 (km / h) – speed
3) 70 ◦ 6 = 420 (km) – distance
Answer: 420 km.
