| The color of plumage in chickens is determined by the B gene localized on the X chromosome. The dominant allele of gene B determines the development of striped plumage, and the recessive allele b – black. Determine what offspring can be expected from the following crosses: 1) (wives) XBY x (husband) XBXb; 2) (women) XbYx (husband) XBXb; 3) (women) XBY x (men) XbXb.
1) Striped cockerels, striped hens and black hens in a ratio of 2: 1: 1;
2) striped cockerels, black cockerels, striped hens and black hens in a ratio of 1: 1: 1: 1;
3) black males and black hens in a ratio of 1: 1: 1: 1.
