| The DNA molecule contains 1150 nucleotides with guanine (G), which is 10% of the total number of all nucleotides. Determine the number of nucleotides with adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C) separately in this DNA molecule. Explain the results obtained.
1) guanine (G) is complementary to cytosine (C) and the number of nucleotides is 1150, their sum (G + C) is 2300 nucleotides;
2) the total number of nucleotides with guanine and cytosine is 20%, and that of adenine and thymine is 80%;
3) the sum of nucleotides with adenine (A) and thymine (T) is 9200, and since the nucleotides with adenine and thymine are complementary, their number separately is 9200: 2 = 4600
