The invention of the telescope

The very first telescope was invented in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 17th century. The inventor was a custom-made eyewear maker from Middelburg, John Leppersheim – in 1608 he showed the pipe he created to the States General.
Then Galileo Gallilei improved it to such an extent that no other master could succeed. He created a pipe that brings objects closer to dozens of times.
