The man drank a lot of water. How will this affect the processes occurring in the excretory system – reabsorption of water in the renal tubules and diuresis (urine excretion)?
1) Water will enter the bloodstream from the digestive system. The salt concentration and osmotic pressure of the blood will decrease.
2) Tubular reabsorption is reduced to remove excess water from the blood.
3) Because reabsorption decreases, urine output increases.
