The mole has a sharp sense of smell and hearing, but almost no vision. Explain why evolution led to just such a combination.

1. The mole lives underground in complete darkness, therefore during evolution under the pressure of natural selection there was a sharpness of smell and hearing.
2. The power of vision was not subjected to selection and therefore gradually weakened.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
