The oil is insoluble in water and slightly toxic. Why is oil pollution considered one of the most dangerous?

| 1) A thin oil film prevents gas exchange between water and the atmosphere,
2) due to oxygen starvation, all inhabitants of the reservoir, especially those living on the surface, suffer
(or, causes the death of plankton, and other organisms living in the water column;
or, plankton – the main food product of marine inhabitants ceases to multiply;
3) Covering the feathers of waterfowl, it impedes flight, the birds die.
