The unification (or union) of which countries and regions of Latin America would be the most logical. Why attempts at such a unification in the XIX century. ended unsuccessfully?
It would be logical if the countries of Latin America united with each other on the basis of territoriality. For example, Mexico with Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama. And Brazil with the countries closest to it; Venezuela, Goviana, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, etc. But at that time this was impossible, because after gaining independence, these countries began to fight with each other due to differences. Many were dissatisfied with the fact that after gaining independence, the dominant position went to the Creole nobility. Conflicts often arose over the form of government in young countries. The majority of the population supported the Republicans, but there were many supporters of the monarchy.
