There are more coniferous forests in our country than deciduous ones, and in large cities deciduous trees grow better than conifers even in the taiga zone. Why is that?

Our country is located in the temperate zone – comfortable living conditions for conifers. Conifers are very sensitive to pollution, so they do not survive in cities, they are strongly oppressed and grow more slowly than deciduous trees.
