Two test tubes contain solutions of sulfuric acid and sodium sulfate. Suggest two ways in which you can distinguish between these solutions.

| 1) Using an indicator – litmus. The test tube with sulfuric acid turns red, the tube with sodium sulfate – the litmus color does not change (purple).
2) When adding zinc. Gas will be released in a test tube with sulfuric acid:
Zn + H2SO4 = Z11SO4 + H2
In a test tube with sodium sulfate – there will be no changes.
