What are the functions of the human musculoskeletal system?

| 1) Support and movement – gives the body shape, maintains posture and balance, movement of the body in space, breathing movements, chewing, swallowing, subtle movements of hands and fingers, participation in the production of sounds, facial expressions
2) protection – the formation of cavities in which the internal organs are located (heart, lungs, large vessels – the chest cavity, the brain and spinal cord – the scrub and the spinal canal, the organs of excretion and reproduction – the pelvic cavity)
3) hematopoiesis – in the cancellous bone tissue is red bone marrow
4) participation in mineral metabolism – bone tissue contains calcium and phosphorus
