What are the main components of a healthy lifestyle. How do physical activity, good nutrition, hardening, work and rest affect health?

The main components of a healthy lifestyle are:
• the optimal level of motor activity, providing the daily need of the body in motion;
• hardening, which helps to increase the body’s resistance to adverse environmental influences and diseases;
• rational nutrition (wholesome, balanced in a set of vital substances – proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals);
• the implementation of the regime of work and rest, helping to maintain working capacity and activity, preventing the development of states of fatigue and overwork;
• compliance with personal hygiene;
• regular medical examinations;
• mental and emotional stability;
• sexual education and behavior, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases;
• giving up bad habits (smoking, drinking alcohol and drugs);
• safe behavior at home, on the street and at school, ensuring the prevention of injuries and other injuries.
Physical activity has a positive effect on human health. It stimulates the activity of the nervous and endocrine systems of the body, increases its resistance to the adverse effects of risk factors, relieves mental and emotional stress, strengthens the neuromuscular system, increases mental and physical performance regardless of age, gender, or profession.
Good nutrition largely determines the state of human health. Physical development (growth, weight), functional state, working capacity, mood, morbidity and life expectancy largely depend on nutrition. The vital activity of the body proceeds normally only when it receives from the outside a sufficient amount of energy in the form of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and water and at the same time their reasonable ratio is observed.
Hardening not only increases the body’s resistance to the effects of natural factors, but is also a powerful tool that ensures its normal development.
Regular hardening provides:
• weakening or elimination of negative reactions of the body to weather changes;
• increasing the ability to perceive and remember;
• strengthening willpower;
• active physiological activity and healthy life;
• slowing down the aging process;
• extension of the active life by 20-25%.
The mode of work and rest is the correct alternation of the periods of work and rest, their duration, the rational distribution of time during the day, week, month, year. Any violation of the regime leads to a disorder of the established system of reflexes, and this can lead to negative changes in the state of health. Human activity should be feasible for the body and not exceed the limit of efficiency of brain cells, and rest should ensure their full recovery.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
