What are the rules for first aid for open fractures?

Open fracture – bone breaks muscle tissue. They are more dangerous, because they are associated with severe bleeding and a high probability of infection of the wound. With open fractures, you must first stop the bleeding, treat the edges of the wound with an antiseptic solution and then apply a sterile dressing. Prepare the tire along the length of the damaged arm or leg, put the limb in a comfortable position (not causing pain) and bandage the tire to it. The hand is hung on a scarf or bandage. The tire is fixed in two places, above and below the injury. If there is no tire, then the leg is bandaged to a healthy leg, and the hand to the body.
