What are the similarities and differences between the fruits of plants of the cereal and asteraceae families?

1) Similarities: they have dry, single-seed, non-opening fruits.
2) Differences: in cereals, the fruit is a caryopsis, and in Asteraceae, the achene.
3) In the caryopsis, the seed peel grows together with the pericarp, and in the achene the seed lies freely, the fruits may have crests, parachutes, trailers.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
