What are the similarities and differences in the biological oxidation of organic substances in the cell and the process of their burning in inanimate nature.

Similarity:
1) there is an oxidation of organic substances to the final products of carbon dioxide and water;
Difference:
2) biological oxidation occurs slowly, sequentially in the process of several reactions, and combustion is a quick process in the form of a single reaction;
3) during combustion, all energy is released in the form of heat, and during biological oxidation, part of the energy is accumulated in ATP molecules in the form of energy of chemical bonds.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
