What are the structural features of the nephron?

The nephron begins with a renal capsule, which, together with the glomerulus of capillaries, forms the renal corpuscle. Between the walls of the nephron capsule, there is a cavity that passes into the nephron tubule, which flows into the collecting ducts, and then into the renal cups and renal pelvis.
