What avant-garde trends in art do you know? What were their features?

The avant-gardists are known for striving to abandon traditional art norms and looking for new forms that, in the spirit of that time, were associated with the development of scientific and technological progress (industrial revolution). This theme in art was new, wide, not hackneyed, therefore the avant-garde trend gave rise to many different directions. The most famous are:
1) Abstractionism – the image of images of people and nature in the form of geometric shapes
2) Cubism – reduction of images to square lines and cubic forms. An outstanding master of this direction was Pablo Picasso.
3) Surrealism (superrealism) is a rejection of traditional logic and an appeal to psychological ideas in the subconscious, Salvador Dali widely used the method of curving space in this direction.
