What consequences can be obtained from the condition of equilibrium of floating bodies?

In order for a floating body inside a liquid to be in equilibrium, the density of the body and the density of the liquid must be equal. In order for a body floating on the surface to be in equilibrium, the inequality must be satisfied; the density of the fluid must be greater than the density of the body.
