| Egypt is a country with a hot and arid climate. It rarely rains here, but there are often dry winds. In April – May, they blow for 40-50 days. Plants wither, dry ground cracks. In June, where the Nile flows from, the rainy season begins and the snow melts in the mountains. The water level in the Nile rises sharply. The river overflows its banks – it overflows, flooding the coastal lands and almost the entire delta. The spill lasts 2 months – from mid-July to mid-September.
