What do cetaceans eat? How do they get food?

| A number of toothed cetaceans (dolphins, sperm whales) are predators. They feed on fish and larger animals, actively attacking them. Toothless whales (blue whale) filter out plankton animals (crustaceans, molluscs) by filtering water through a filter apparatus of horny plates (whalebone).
