From the point of view of physiology, it is in the phase of slow sleep that the body undergoes rehabilitation and recovery – the cells are restored, the structure of the tissues, minor repairs of the human internal organs take place, and the energy balance is restored. In the REM sleep phase, the information received by the brain during the day is processed, the “data” is exchanged between the consciousness and the subconscious. This phase of sleep is necessary for a person so that the person himself and his brain can first of all adapt to changing environmental conditions. In this phase of sleep, a person “sees” dreams.
