What elements does the soil consist of?

Soil is the most important part of the biosphere, which largely determines the state of the human environment. It consists of a variety of mineral and organic substances. Most of the minerals are silica, alumina, lime and magnesia. Organic matter is the modified remains of representatives of the plant and animal world. The composition of the soil is not the same in different places: in one place minerals predominate in it, and organic substances prevail in another.
