What energy sources prevailed on the ancient Earth? How can one explain the non-specific effect of various energy sources on the processes of formation of organic molecules?
On ancient Earth, in the primary atmosphere there were only heavy gases, water vapor. The source of energy was the sun. The sun served as a catalyst for many chemical processes on ancient Earth.
In my opinion, the source of ancient energy is chemical processes under the influence of a lightning spark or other forms of electrodes. They, together with gases in the primary atmosphere, formed energy.
Hence, thermal and electrical forms of energy existed on the ancient Earth
