A person has a unique set of qualities acquired throughout his life. These properties are called traits. They indicate the type and structure of the personality, determine its behavior and actions. Character traits change under the influence of external conditions, including training and education.
Character – a criterion for evaluating a person. In psychology, this term is a complex of individual and relatively stable mental qualities that affect all manifestations and actions.
Primary qualities are formed on the basis of mental processes and conditions, regulate human activity and behavior. They are associated with its functions and are based on the properties of temperament. The 1st group includes the following groups of traits:
* Cognitive (intellectual) – characterize the attitude of the individual to knowledge and creativity. This is curiosity, observation, initiative.
* Emotional – express the level of acceptance or rejection of the external or internal impact of an object, another person or himself. This group includes anxiety, lethargy, aggressiveness, temper, as well as cheerfulness, optimism, good nature, love of loving.
* Strong-willed – characterize the individual’s attitude to difficulties, the ability to overcome obstacles and complete the work begun. Features providing strength of action and overcoming obstacles – courage, courage, determination, determination. Volitional properties that determine the regulation of behavior: organization, punctuality and discipline.
* Communicative – express the ability to interpersonal interaction. This is sociability, openness and attentiveness, on the one hand, and isolation, shyness, indifference – on the other.
* Psychomotor – determine the characteristics of a person’s motor activity. Positive qualities from this group: energy, dexterity and strength. Negative: awkwardness, clumsiness, weakness and slowness.
Secondary characteristics have a moral and semantic load and reflect the attitude of the individual:
* To other people. This is sociability, respect, tact, courtesy, sensitivity, indifference, disrespect, callousness, rudeness and arrogance.
* To yourself. This list includes modesty, self-criticism, independence, self-esteem, self-centeredness, boastfulness, pride, arrogance and vanity.
* To activities. This is hard work and even workaholism, initiative, perseverance, diligence, perseverance, diligence, conscientiousness, responsibility and irresponsibility, fussiness, carelessness and laziness.
* To nature. This is caring, responsibility, prudence, kindness and caution.
* To subjects as a result of activity. This is neatness and carelessness, frugality and negligence, generosity and stinginess.
