What is a galvanometer? What are the main parts of it?

The galvanometer is a sensitive ammeter. It consists of a horseshoe-shaped magnet, between the poles of which there is a light frame with an arrow attached to it. Several turns of insulated wire are wound on the frame, the ends of which are connected to the terminals of the galvanometer through spiral springs.
