| Reflex – the body’s response to external and internal stimuli, carried out and controlled by the central nervous system. Reflexes are unconditioned (congenital), inherited to ensure the vital activity of the body (swallowing, blinking, sneezing, coughing, salivation, etc.), and conditioned, acquired during life, allowing the body to respond adequately to any changes in the environment and adapt.
