| 1) This is the process of artificially obtaining mutations by exposure to mutagenic factors (irradiation with ultraviolet and X-rays, etc.).
2) The purpose of the application is to obtain useful mutations from the offspring. Individuals with beneficial mutations subsequently participate in the creation of new strains of microorganisms or plant varieties.
