What is blood pressure? How can you measure it?

This pressure, under which the blood is in the vessels, is measured using a tonometer. The maximum pressure is recorded at the time of ventricular contraction and is normally 120 mm Hg. Art., the minimum pressure is observed at the time of relaxation of the heart and is normally 70 mm Hg. Art. Blood pressure readings are indicative of a person’s health status.
