What is karst? In what rocks and how is it formed?

Karst is a complex of several processes and phenomena in which rocks dissolve as a result of the influence of water, voids and special relief forms form. Basically, these processes are observed in rocks such as limestone, marble, gypsum, dolomite and rock salt. These rocks are relatively easily washed out by water (currents, streams, etc.).
