What is solar activity and how is it characterized?

Solar activity manifests itself in the formation of a large number of sunspots, prominences, and non-stationary dynamic phenomena (solar flares, coronal mass ejections). Solar activity is characterized by Wolf numbers, total sunspot area and radiation fluxes.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
