What is solubility? In what units can solubility be expressed? What groups can be divided into substances depending on their solubility?

Solubility – the maximum possible number of grams of a substance that can be dissolved in 100 g of solvent at a given temperature.
Solubility is expressed by the concentration of a solute in its saturated solution in weight or volume units, referred to 100 g or 100 cm3 (ml) of the solvent (g / 100 g or cm3 / 100 cm3).
Depending on the solubility, substances are divided into highly soluble, slightly soluble and practically insoluble.
