What is the difference between a radionuclide and a stable nuclide of the same element?

Nuclides are divided into stable and radioactive (radionuclides). Stable nuclides do not undergo spontaneous radioactive transformations from the ground state of the nucleus. Radionuclides pass into other nuclides by means of radioactive transformations.
