What is the difference between a supernova outbreak and a new star outbreak?

| The most powerful explosions in the world of stars are called supernova explosions. If a nova in an outburst loses hundredths of its mass and can flare up again, then in a supernova outbreak, almost all of its matter scatters into space, and the rest of the matter collapses into a neutron star or black hole.
