What is the difference between heterozygous organisms and homozygous?

If an organism contains identical alleles of one gene (both wrinkled or both smooth) in a pair of homologous chromosomes, then it is called homozygous, and if it contains different alleles (both wrinkled and smooth) in homologous chromosomes, it is called heterozygous.
